The Traitors is back on our screens with season 4 to inject some excitement into our January, and the cast are looking especially… cosy. Sure, there are far more pressing things to be focusing on, but our eyes keep being drawn to the colourful jumpers, thick knits and printed sweater vests populating the screen.

Jade’s ridiculously chunky cardi

First up, we have Jade Scott’s comically oversized, cheerful confection of a cardigan. She’s actually repping independent designer Hope Macaulay, who specialises in these giant knits. While they are a bit on the pricey side, they are made from responsibly sourced wool and are hand-knitted locally in the brand’s home of Northern Ireland. Each cardigan even comes with a label bearing the name of the knitter who created it.

The exact style worn by Jade is available to buy on the website if you want to feel cosy, make a statement and support local craftsmanship. The blue version also appears to be one of the brand’s less dramatic designs. Great if you still want to buy quality knit without drawing too much attention.

Stephen’s sage green cable knit

Next up is Stephen Libby and his cable knit jumper in a calming shade of sage green. We couldn’t find the exact match, but this style by Ireland’s Eye comes pretty close. It features the same serene shade of green and a mix of moss, honeycomb and cable stitches. And, it’s 100% merino wool without breaking the bank.
